Father Fred Tomzik
Fr. Fred is lifelong resident of Norridge where he attended
Divine Savior grade school. He has a B.A. in Communications and
a minor in Philosophy from Loyola University of Chicago and a
Master of Divinity degree from the University of St. Mary of the
Lake. . Father has been the Chaplain for the Norwood Park Fire
Department since December of 1996. Currently, he is the Pastor
of St. Louise de Marillac Parish in La Grange Park. His previous
assignments include: St. Robert Bellarmine, Nativity of Our
Lord, Divine Infant in Westchester and St. Eugene in Chicago.
Father is a member of the Federation of Fire Chaplains and
International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). He is
trained in Pastoral Care, Fire Department Chaplaincy and CISM
through both these organizations.
